The primary goal of the Rockwall Police Department Honor Guard is to represent the City of Rockwall at state ceremonies, city functions, parades, and funerals. Should an officer pay the ultimate sacrifice, the honor guard will be there to guard the fallen officer and comfort their family during their time of need. Each member of the honor guard unit not only acts in concert with other honor guard members to accomplish their goals but they also serve as a liaison between the department and community. The Rockwall Police Department Honor Guard is made up of nine dedicated officers from within the department. They regularly practice and prepare each detail and maneuver of every event they are involved in.
