Prescription Drug Return

The Rockwall Police Department now offers the general public a prescription drug return program through the use of a drug collection unit that was provided by CVS Pharmacy. The drug collection unit will provide the general public with a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unwanted or expired medications, including controlled substances. The unit is located outside of the Communications Center entrance of the Rockwall Police Department, which is located at 205 West Rusk Street. The drug collection unit is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and it is monitored by video surveillance. Unwanted medications can be dropped into the drug collection unit with no questions asked. This service is available to the general public and should not be utilized as prescription drop off for doctors or dentists offices. In addition, liquids, needles, thermometers, medical waste and trash should not be placed in the unit. .
